    Toshiba to Supply 10,000 Energy Storage Systems for Eneres

    Toshiba Corporation today announced that it has been selected by Eneres Co., Ltd. to supply 10,000 energy storage systems. The storage systems will be installed at end-user sites by Eneres, where they will support a best balance between energy supply and demand. Toshiba will deliver the system to Eneres in the period up to the end of fiscal year 2015 (March 31, 2016).

    SunEdison Finishes 1.7MW Solar Project in California

    SunEdison, Inc. today announced the completion of a 1.7MW DC roof-mounted solar PV system in Hesperia, California that will both provide power to Southern California Edison (SCE) and benefit the landowner, real estate developer ICO Group. SCE is purchasing the energy via a 20 year power purchase agreement (PPA). Under the program, the facility owner benefits by leasing its rooftop.

    Clenergy Finished 40MW PV Mounting System Supply in Pakistan

    Clenergy recently finished a 40MW PV mounting order for a flagship 100MW project at the Quaid-e-Azam Solar Energy Park in Bahawalpur, Pakistan. This project's EPC and O&M provider is TBEA SunOasis. TBEA has invited tenders for this project, which was followed by a thorough evaluation process to ensure successful completion for the first large-scale ground PV project in Pakistan.

The 1.8MW, ground-mounted solar array for the Mora-San Miguel Electric Cooperative, co-developed by Standard Solar and Ute Peak Solar, will provide approximately 5 percent of the Cooperative's load with locally produced clean energy.

    Amtech To Acquire BTU International

    Amtech Systems, Inc. and BTU International, Inc. today announced that the companies have entered into a definitive merger agreement under which Amtech will acquire all the outstanding stock of BTU in an all-stock transaction. BTU stockholders will receive 0.3291 shares of Amtech common stock for every share of BTU common stock and will own approximately 23.9% of the combined company. The combined company will own an attractive and diverse portfolio of technology solutions and products and generated pro forma revenues of $94.7 million based on the results for the twelve month period ended June 30, 2014 and June 29, 2014 for Amtech and BTU, respectively.
