August 5, 2014 - CBD Energy will build a 64MW, $US112 million solar power plant in Thailand.
CBD has signed a construction agreement with Australian solar company Environmental Engineering Group's subsidiary in Thailand, with CBD set to earn about $US6 million in profit from the project when it sells it to a finance company in Singapore.
CDB has signed 25-year power purchase agreement with the state-owned Thai Provincial Electricity Authority, with the Australian company's executive chairman Gerry McGowan saying it would continue to develop a pipeline of projects in Southeast Asia.
