July 10, 2013 - Enphase Energy, Inc. announced today Wondai Electrical Service has completed the first Enphase installation in Queensland. The self-installed system utilizes the Enphase Microinverter System to power the site's offices, training room and combined electrical warehouse and workshop.

Wondai Electrical Service installed a 5kW system to provide their solar clients with information collected from the site via Enphase's web-based monitoring platform, Enlighten.

"After learning about the Enphase System and being trained with its technology, the decision to use microinverters was obvious," said Owen Blamires, managing director of Wondai Electrical Service. "The process of communicating between individual module inverters through the Envoy Communications Gateway to a cloud-based web platform was so simple to comprehend it almost seemed too good to be true."

"We are thrilled about the adoption of Enphase microinverters in Queensland, and the opportunity to introduce our system's reliability, efficiency and remote monitoring benefits to Wondai Electrical Service," said Russell French, sales director for Enphase Energy in Australia. "The growing use of the Enphase System in Australian installations is a testament to the value we deliver as the leading provider of microinverter systems globally."

The system has produced more than 1.7MWh of clean energy since installation in April 2013, equivalent to offsetting over one ton of CO2.

The Enphase Microinverter System offers a new approach to the installation, operation and maintenance of solar energy systems. Enphase Microinverters, the Envoy Communications Gateway and Enlighten web-based monitoring and analysis software work together to deliver increased energy harvest and unparalleled solar system intelligence.
