15 May 2013 – In March 2013 KACO new energy GmbH and Enerparc AG commenced a close collaboration. Since then several hundred inverters for solar farms totalling 34MW have already been delivered, and additional projects are nearing completion.

Since early March, KACO new energy GmbH has been able to count Enerparc AG as one of its clients. In this short period of time, the Neckarsulm-based inverter manufacturer has supplied nearly 540 Powador 60.0 TL3 units to Enerparc, headquartered in Hamburg. The inverters are being installed as part of ten projects, mainly in eastern Germany. Enerparc is using them at locations between Neubrandenburg and Wegeleben for a total output of 34MW. For upcoming projects with Powador units, locations in European and Asian countries are being planned.

Michael Drabek, purchasing manager at Enerparc AG, explains the decision for the Powador 60.0 TL3 as follows: "It is a good technical fit for our system configuration. Our projects involve modules with outputs between 225W and 255W, and with the 60.0 TL3 it is easy to configure, especially as its three MPP trackers make it very flexible. Not least of all because the integrated string collector with fuses and surge protection provides a good price-performance ratio. This is important especially for large systems."

Ralf Hofmann, CEO of KACO new energy GmbH, sees another success factor: "Our collaboration will benefit no doubt from the fact that Enerparc's employees are proven PV professionals with many years of experience in the solar industry. We see the course set for a long and successful collaboration."
